THE POLITICAL REALITY OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN USA!

If asked, “How many political parties are there in America

?”… probably  98% of the voters would declare: “2” referring to the Giant Elephant and the Giant Jackass!  But in reality five (5) political parties have ballot access with enough Electors to actually elect a president.  They are: Republican Party and Democrat Party with ballot access in 50 States + D.C.; Libertarian Party (28 states); Constitution Party (21 States); and Green Party (21 States).  By November these latter three minor parties all expect to have ballot access on more than 40 States via signature petitioning.USA, no matter how strange some may seem, see < http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com/PartyLink.htm >.

As 2008 is fully exposing – running for political office has become a very expensive proposition since major-media “advertising” has become the primary medium for presenting the candidates of the two-major parties!  And even candidates in the primaries for those major parties ARE NOT getting major-media exposure – Ron Paul being the prime example!  And even though Paul garnered close to $25 MILLION in private donations – certain of his campaign “staff” not only mismanaged those funds, while paying themselves large salaries, but the impact of Ron Paul on the major-media and therefore the general public has been very minimal at best!  Thus besides media-silence for those candidates not part of the “Establishment – Special Interests”; alternative political parties have to contend with a disparity of ballot access laws different in all fifty states + D.C.!  It’s become a very discouraging scenario as deliberately intended by the two-major parties and their Special Interests!  No wonder only “Revolutionary” political parties using “revolutionary means” have gained any major attention in other parts of the world historically!  Such remains to be seen here in America as events may unfold for the worse in the near future!
